Today I got to finish my quilted throw pillow!! In my previous post I had explained how I made the quilted top for this throw pillow.
The quilt top I made was about 19″ x 19″. I wanted to make a zippered cover and looked for some tutorials on Pinterest. Found one which was easy to follow. Link here.
Once the zippered backing was done, I stitched it to the quilted top, wrong sides together. In an alternate method, leave the zipper open and stitch the quilted top and backing right sides together and flip the cover through the zipper opening.
I wanted to try binding this throw pillow so that I can get some practice before I start my bigger projects. I cut 2″ strips of fabric and stitched them together.
Followed this tutorial on YouTube by Fat Quarter Shop to do the binding.
Quilted throw pillow cover done!!!! Just need to find or make a filler for this.
